info, gnome-software immediately crashes without displaying more info.
Clicking on an installed deb package like gnome-calculator sometimes the
more info is displayed - sometimes it is briefly displayed

I was able to reproduce your bug, but it went away when I installed the
webkit2gtk packages from kinetic-proposed. Are you able to give that a
try?
Here's the trick to how I installed just the webkit stuff:
mkdir webkit; cd webkit
pull-lp-debs webkit2gtk kinetic-proposed
sudo apt install --mark-au
