Seems my development (impish) machine encountered the crash only once,
yesterday, and logged:

Interestingly, the source of this particular crash is canberra-gtk-
module.c from libcanberra 0.30. That's the latest version but it's also
from 2012 so Wayland support might not be great. It appears you can
safely just uninstall it:
sudo apt remove libcanberra-gtk3-module

Given ubuntu/impish is not exist in salsa, so I create it in my salsa
git and another patch to include the change.

Thanks for the video! That "flash" seems to be the whole screen
flickering to black. It can happen if the Wayland backend fails to
assign a buffer to the screen for a frame. But it can also happen with
monitor connection issues that may be hardware or software (kernel)
problems. That's less likely

worked. After reboot, the screen turns off and stays off. I will do
