OK. You would need to install Ubuntu before you can choose Wayland. But it's not guaranteed to fix things. And if you see related problems in Windows 10 then it sounds like the hardware is faulty :( Maybe not badly faulty... if the problem is just incorrect timing info in the monitor's EDID. It

Removed the package for this extensions and also the extensions in that directory. After that I logout and login again and started the game Portal two times, one using GameMode and the other not using it. Both times the game couldn't go full screen correctly. ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu)
