I tried to install stock 20.04.1 ubuntu with 'Install third party pkgs
(e.g. nvidia)' + enable login automatically. After a reboot because of
installation completed, the system will stuck in GDM login screen and
can't login even if typing correct password.

g-c-c is unable to change the resolution on my external 2560x1440
monitor to 1920x1080 - when I try, the monitor turns off.
However, the command "xrandr --output HDMI-1 --mode 1920x1080" does
successfully change the resolution.
xrandr for the monitor shows:
HDMI-1 connected
Same here. Connected to google account. No sync with gnome calendar.

two the pdfs on my desktop are displayed incorrectly and stretched out.

For the record, this just happened to me on a *fresh* install of Ubuntu
18.04.
The first thing I did after system installed months ago was to install
Unity from repositories (and set lightdm as the default greeter). Unity
may not be the default anymore in 18.04 but it runs and looks great.

nVidia cards?
- How someone who wants to help fix this required basic functionality would do

Hello Sirs, is this a joke? Tried Evolution for the first time looking of an
alternative to Mozilla TB, it WOULD be nice (Maildir, etc etc) if I COULD use
it also with my GSuite account imposed to me by the company I work for. The
issue seems that Evolution just "forgets" the token/application p
