New upstream release 3.32.1 wanted for disco, to fix pairing issues on a
variety of devices.
ver 3.32.1:
- Fix setup of devices that don't need pairing
- Always try to pair pointer devices
- Delegate audio devices quirks to bluez, which means that more
PIN codes can be trie

I installed the previous mutter version (mutter_3.32.0-1_amd64) as
suggested, and it works as expected. No more downscaled fonts after
reboot.
The version that does not work is mutter_3.32.0-1ubuntu1_amd64

will try the ubuntu sessions tomorrow. I normally run the gnome
(wayland) session, but have keepass2 in startup applications. Believe
that it is running via xwayland, and its approximately when keepass2
starts up and/or gains focus that my laptop touchpad/keyboard start
working again.

I'm testing 19.04 on an Acer-One S1003. An interesting quirk of that
tablet is that the default screen orientation is portrait (as can be
seen in BIOS setup, grub etc.)
