Just yesterday i copy more small file 1Gb and yes also with not good
speed but without slow down pc. Now i copy 2 movies x 1.5gb , and pc
hang. Not possible to move mouse normal and etc.
I see this bug is from more than 2 years and not fix yet. Very

My ubuntu system locks up regularly. Bugs I've reported about this get
closed for inattention, after being ignored, and queries about how to do
basic debugging get the same treatment, so I just power cycle whenever
it happens again.

from system theme" then the flickering is even easier to reproduce just
by typing SPACE in gnome-terminal --- you will that the cursor leaves a
shadow/ghost behind itself which disappears after a couple of seconds.

Under Unity 7 you could press alt-space to open the window control menu
and then press, for example, M to move the window, n to minimise, x to
maximise etc.
While alt-space opens the menu under GNOME Shell the shortcut keys don't
work.
