Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1664613, so is being marked as such.
Other affected apps include eog, evince, file-roller and epiphany-
browser.
Because Unity is not going to be our default desktop any more, the
Ubuntu Desktop team doesn't have to fix these ourselves but it could
make a nice bitesize task if someone else wants to get started in Ubuntu

I'm on Ubuntu 17.04 (upgraded from 16.10) and I never received an update
to gnome-shell 3.24.1. I had to manually run apt install gnome-shell
which updated gnome-shell to 3.24.1 but this bug persists, no change
whatsoever.

Observed these errors when I was trying "df " to
check the status. It was working for some time earlier. Now when I issue

I had the same problem using the varnishncsa service:
