I have 16.04 LTS on a Dell XPS13 (L321X) and an external LG display connected.
I set it up to: -dim the screen -turn screen off when inactive for 10
minutes -lock ON -lock screen as soon as screen turns off -require
password when waking from
I too see the same thing on Ubuntu 16.04. Using the Show Copy Dialog
doesn't help because it just brings up another instance of Nautilus, not
the copy dialog. Alt-Tab cycles through that, not the copy dialog.

How is this fixed?
I just downloaded 16.04 after a five year break from Linux. It was too
many headaches back then. Just trying to print or install a program
turned into days long ordeals. Drivers, dependencies, a AH!
I just want to get some work done.
Now I'm back for another try and

hello, it was after I upgrade my ubuntu 12.04.
And now when I start gvim in the terminal .It will return the following
message:
