Ah, I just noticed that immediate shutdowns work fine. Scheduled
shutdowns however are handled by logind, and that requires dbus. I'm
afraid this won't change.
This has been "fixed" in yakkety by pulling libpam-systemd and
consequently dbus into the container images, as we were able to make

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1293868, so is being marked as such.
That no-open fix was specifically for the DFU endpoint wasn't it? So if
something like that is what's needed for this scenario probably still
needs to be put together.
Alright so I think there are a few more interesting data point that are needed
here.

I'd be interested to hear if the no-open-device fix for fwupd would also
help here, although this does look like the device reconnecting wildly
(hardware issue?) like Mario said.

Made an account to say that #52 worked for me. After upgrading to Ubuntu
14.04 from 12.04, I had lost sound, the ability to shut down/reboot as a

I also experience this problem on Linux Mint 17.3 KDE (based on Ubuntu 14.04),
copying through the KDE I/O subsystem (Dolphin or Krusader). So, I think
Nautilus (which shows in the "Affects" field) is just a victim.

Seahorse stores imported key in a particular file when importing and takes keys
from a different when using them. It seems to have a relation with the new
gnupg-keybox-file *.

When I installed Ubuntu 16.04 I used Unity Tweak Tool to change some behaviors
of Unity.
