This tooltip/popup issue is still a problem in Ubuntu 15.04, and it
appears the old workaround has been disabled. Very frustrating. It
should be possible to easily enable the status bar or turn off these

I was unable to reproduce the bug with a single screen, nor a dual screen.
Volodya: maybe there is an overlap in your ARandR settings? I'm just doing a
wild guess here, but if you havn't already check it: you will find the ARandR
settings in the Settings Manager in the "hardware" section.

Under upstart, I can have the following line in my /etc/fstab:
tmpfs /run tmpfs defaults,size=10M 0 0
At mount time, mountall will use /etc/fstab as an override for the
internal fstab (/lib/init/fstab) and so I end up with /run mounted with
a 10MB limit.
