Hi,
I just have the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04 with 3.13.0-34-generic x86_64 and
2.98.really.2.97-1ubuntu6.1~precise2 version of Rhythmbox.
It crashed in the middle of the music then quit.

Hi, I'm posting my personal case history hoping this can be useful.
I had two laptops both running Ubuntu12.04 (Gnome, w/o Unity). One of them -
Acer - equipped by 32 bits version, the other - Asus - whith 64 bits version.
No troubles with both even when authenticating at the same time to my goo
I guess the problem root is gvfs-sftp. My secuence is:
1.- Stablish vpn connection
2.- Open remote location with nautilus thruht sftp
3.- Disconnect from vpn
4.- Suspend laptop
5.- Resume laptop
6.- Reconnect to vpn
7.- Try to start nautilus but it doesnt shows up
8.- Kill /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-sftp
Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS (lubuntu) affected
