Your problem appears to be fixed (for me at least) in Evolution 3.12.4. That version was installed when I added the Gnome staging depository. But the Gnome staging depository is of no use if you run just plain Ubuntu 14.04. Some may be able to compile the newer version from source. Kind regards Cl
