Trying to configure input method from the indicator, I'm able to see the
control panel where to change from input layouts; so what really is
going on is the control panel icon to be hidden.
After been installed, it's the "indicator-keyboard" package the one
which should tell the control panel to s

Looks like i just encountered this issue. I have a sftp host which was
unaccessible for some time (ssh connection just hangs). The host started
working but I was wondering why the computer felt slow. This is the
reason (output from top):
