something else, and revert back, then insert date/time works as
expected, even with a newly started gedit.

Just create a file with an hebrew name and try to see it using ls or try
to view a file with hebrew text with programs like less or cat and the
text will be inverted. It displays fine using nautilus or gedit.
Problem
I'm having this issue in 11.10, does anyone else?
Evolution is version 3.2.1-0ubuntu1
Also, I don't think this issue is related to the upstream bug 517258.

purging a package for different
I've attached an example of what happens when the pointer unfreezes. The
video is a bit faster than real life, but notice how the cursor grabs a
window, shakes it around and then maximizes it, before returning control
to the user. When this starts happening, it occurs very often - up to a
few times
...*but*, it appears that gnome-settings-daemon had only just
started/restarted after closing Opera (based on the start time of the
process).
