I was watching the session bus with dbus-monitor and i noticed that
every URL i've clicked on in pidgin at least since the last reboot shows
up as a dbus object under gvfs, and g-s-m constantly polls this stuff.
That probably explains why the problem is so much worse on my
workstation, i've clicked

That limit is in xchat also, so doesn't impact people like me who have

I already said a few weeks ago that I'd rather see this in oneiric, and
being discussed upstream first. Other release team members didn't ack it
either, so closing for now.

Running a regular apt update, gstreamer-plugins-ugly fails to upgrade
(from 0.10.17-1 to 0.10.17-1ubuntu1). The reason seems to be that in the

I would like to report that this is finally fixed for me in Natty beta!
Seems like it's probably more of a coincidence or a kernel improvement,
but as long as it works I'm happy! Can anyone else confirm this?

Almost same case as christopher above in comment #4.
I did as close as *nothing* in the guest session: click the 'guest'
menu, went to the 'power' menu and 'Log out' from there.
laptop still up for report ;)
