default, IDE mode, set in the BIOS, the controller acts as a PATA
controller. In the AHCI mode, the controller is detected as a SATA/AHCI

Is it possible for gnome-session to return to the parent process a different
exit code based on what the user selected?
E.g.
logout => return 0
reboot => return 1
shutdown => return 2
This way LTSP could look at the exit code and act appropriately...

I just observed the following behaviour:
I copied an svg-file which crashes nautilus when preview is not turned off, to
a sub folder of my desktop. If I open this folder with nautilus, it doesn't
crash.
Might there be a relation to the pathname?

hi,
Empathy seems to be resilient with removing M$N contacts from the list, despite
of prior removal on official M$N web.
Pidgin has no problem to sync...

after moving messages from my "On this computer" account to a local dovecot
imap account, the messages from the source folder are not really deleted.
first they seem to be gone from the source folder but at least after repoening
evolution they
to solve this isse ... just empty the callendar cache in the evolution
directory

When I open empathy, it displays only online contacts, with most groups
collapsed. When I click the arrow to expand any of the groups, it
