When you run vinagre, it shows locally-discovered VNC servers (including
localhost if remote desktop control is enabled). It shows two entries
for each server, eg:

I just copied a bunch of video files from a camera memory stick,
selected them in nautilus, right-clicked and selected "Open with Movie
Player" and the same problem happened.

When I'm playing a particular song in Rythmbox, and I pause it. An while
it's paused I delete it the following song starts playing without any
input from the user. I expect the playlist stays paused even if the
currently song is deleted.

click on the sound icon in the top panel, then select 'sound
preferences' in the 'output' tab select your usb speakers to activate
them. and then it should work fine after that.
