My empathy version is Empathy 2.31.90
When I want to use "Help > Report a Problem" function, it doesn't work.
Later I tracked emphaty via console and found that it gives an error

My Google Apps account is able to connect successfully and the status is
set as "Available". Now when I try my GMail account, it shows
"Available" for a split second and then returns to "Disconnected -- no

activated Default preference.
Re: #43. Karmic was my first (and last) Ubuntu install. Since mid-2009, a
pattern has emerged:
a) Release software filled with regressive bugs.
b) Trivialize complaints.
c) Mark bugs as too old
Well as I know MyspaceIM in Empathy is supported by telepathy-haze.
That's pretty problematic solution. If you really need it I can code
native telepathy connection manager that will support MyspaceIM.

Done a little more looking into this. Screen blanks by power management
(ie, lid open, no key/mouse input for five minutes) don't cause lock to
activate.
Suspend-->Resume (ie, close laptop lid, wait, re-open) does cause screen
to lock.
