The "oem" user gets removed at the end of the oem-config process. I'll
have to do some checking to see if a specific option breaks it, but I
notice that a standard (non-oem) install doesn't have the file at all,
so it seems like the oem-config process should remove that file upon

Thank you! I'm feeling experimental so I'll try the proposed version and

By the way, I "discovered" that I never really needed to turn off
automount in order to use my mp3 player in Rhythm Box. It turns out that
Rhythm box can use it just fine, I just don't see the devise as

!!! Deleted all my masters thesis files, when i was making back up on CD.
There was something wrong with the files. I believe it was erroneous file name
for one of the files.
Some app had written it out as windows path. like ".\images\sample\test.bmp"

i think i solved, at least for me. disconnecting al the usb active on start
e.g. bluetooth, wireless lan, camera, or card reader.
i connected all usb later, after start.
