Reopening as the patch currently in the package only disables right-
click but not middle-click. Maybe my comment in the patch was a bit
misleading, I meant disable corner tapping on the right side of the
touchpad, that includes right- and middle-click, as it is also possible

Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does
not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to
a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you
are facing, but
Observed annoying with totem-gstreamer 2.28.2-0ubuntu3, whether in the
browser plugin or natively in Totem. I haven't fiddled with any of the
gconf settings, I did go in and tell Totem I have "1.5Mbps
T1/Intranet/LAN" (which is true, 1.5mbit/s AT&T DSL - though that does
mean it craps out just shy
To add to this, the recent kernel update (I assume?) for 9.10 broke it
again for my D300. It is seen as present as an MTP device, but now it
only works if I connect with the XP VM first, then F-spot is OK. I am
not sure if the camera appears on the desktop (i.e. mounted) but will do
some more tests
To be clear, you can also do this in a more straightforward way by just
pressing sqrt twice, and then -1, and then enter. This also freezes
gcalctool.

I don't have the normalisre plugin installed but still get:

gconf 2.28-1ubuntu5 did not fix this for me. I tried downgrading gconf2
to 2.28-1ubuntu4 and upgrading again, but to no avail. Running `xset r
on` after each login is a workaround for now. Anything I can run in
order to fix this?

It is quite embarrassing to recommend Ubuntu to family, friends &
neighbors and then have them ask you why they can not assign sounds to
various system events like they could in M/S windows and then have to
tell them that you are sorry but you can no longer do that in the latest
versions of Ubuntu.
The totem player opens when I click on HD but immediately the plugin
searcher application pops up. I cancel it, I click on the title of movie
in the opened file history and then the movie starts well. The codec
installed but this plugin pops up unnecessary.

The clock applet in Karmic no longer shows an icon if a location is set
with no city (just a time zone, like described in previous comment). I
guess that in Intrepid, the icon is displayed at coordinates 0.00, 0.00.
I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest stable
version of Ubu

Thanks, but that's not really a bug there. gnome-power-manager is
designed to not suspend the machine until the session is idle, and the
default idle timeout for the session is 10 minutes. You can adjust the
idle timeout too in System -> Preferences -> Screensaver, or by
adjusting /desktop/gnome/se
It really depends on the authentication policies of the DAV server.
One administrator could wish to allow directory creation but not moving. In
this case using gnome also directory creation would fail, even if it is allowed
by the server.
