Just a suggestion: check the filesize and test if the bug is triggered
with filesizes between 2 and 4 gigas, 6 and 8, 10 and 12 and so on. If
that's the case, then the problem can be because nautilus is using STAT
instead of STAT64. I had a similar problem some time ago and is was due
to that.

I do not currently know how to fix this problem, sorry.
What you could attempt to do is the following:
1. Uninstall Awn.
2. Run both of the gconftool-2 commands from earlier in the bug.
3. Re-install Awn.
It's possible that this sequence of commands could reset GConf to do
what we want it to do,
anything I can do to help try to fix it? It's rather much of a setback

If the unset panel config command doesn't work, try this one:
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/avant-window-navigator
If that doesn't work, then I'm currently out of ideas.

As I said, I've reinstalled all awn packages but still no progress.
I'll run that gconftool-2 command later tonight for the untouched
install. In the current boot I've tried to reset key values but the
command awn-settings after some resets pointed to other awn settings
under /apps/avant-window-n

While on a typing break, pressing a key should make the timer start tying from
the start

breaks. Once a typing break starts, one sometimes continues typing, and
the timer continues to count down. Instead I think it should reset the

What I do is write a message to an (msn) offline contact. The first message is
sent properly. If I write a second message, it produces the error mentioned
above.

fast, then the auto-completion of the name kicks in.
But if I type too fast, then the name ends up wrong:

I have the same problem in karmic. I wanted to add another launcher with the
command: firefox "www.grooveshark.com" .
After reboot, the two firefox launchers where the same, only the command:
firefox .
