The Mac4Lin theme requires awn, which requires compositing. its install
had an option to enable compositing in metacity. If I enable compositing
in metacity, compiz shuts off, and I can't switch back to it, but I can
run awn. If I disable compostiting in metacity, awn disappears, but I
can switch

bugged me no end with vi. The appropriate behaviour is to let the user
confirm that the file has no final newline, with a checkbox to always
silently add one (which I will most definitely never use!), and a

Same problem :
- my Canon A710 appears twice in Nautilus after being powered on
- gthumb can't access to it ("camera is being used")
I must unmount the camera in Nautilus then manually run gthumb to be able to
import my photos.
