frame it's rendering every single svg brick separately. This is why it
gets slower with more bricks on the screen even when they're the same

Gnometris allows you to change block themes. This issue appears when I
use the tango "Tango Shaded" theme. It doesn't happen when I use the
"Plain" theme. I have a fast cpu so it's not a cpu usage issue. Also
using top I was able to see that cpu usage stays low even when gnometris
becomes unrespons
To notice the unresponsiveness pile up some lines of blocks and keep using the
arrow-down key to lower blocks faster.
You will notice after a while that it will become a lot less responsive.

Test scenario:
Copied and pasted some material from a website (for example, the search box on
google.com) to a new message in evolution.
Highlighted and deleted the content, to see that the search box, submit
button, and radio buttons remain.
I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope.
Apparently the game starts becoming more and more unresponsive with time.
Also the game can become responsive again when you fill a line.
So if you keep stacking blocks but don't fill any lines it will become less and
less responsive after a while

The problem happened again. Looking in the kernel logs I found this
message that to me seems related with my problem:

Hi Sebastian,
I ran gedit and printed from there. The print dialog hung as expected and
thus, I have attached two backtraces:
1) Before gedit received SIGPIPE
2) After gedit received SIGPIPE
The reason for two backtraces is that there is a significant time lag
between (1) and (2). Meanwhile, the
:~$grep SoundOnLogin /etc/gdm/gdm.conf
# If SoundOnLogin is true, then the greeter will beep when login is ready for
# user input. If SoundOnLogin is a file and the greeter finds the 'play'

Maybe instead of viewing this as too large to be a paper cut, we could
split it into several distinct paper cuts. For example:
1. Default to PDF format. I imagine this is a 1 line diff against the
code driving the Gtk print dialog.
2. Place output files on Desktop instead of HOME by default. T
