If this is just a build dependancy issue, then I would like to request

In Hardy or Jaunty, f-spot still does not allow importing pictures to a
custom directory. It's really a bad idea to store photos in a deeply

So, basically I want to burn a number of avi files onto a dvd. I am
burning this as a data dvd using the default brasero application that
ships with jaunty.

that with it, a customised version can be created in any supported
language. Of course I will build a Dutch one, test it and use it on the
occasions that I have to proof that Ubuntu is fun to use and works in
our native language

Just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04, and wanted to give Evo a good go.
I do need a good calendar.
But when I press the Calendar button, Evo freezes and goes black.
I have to force quit.

Apparently it is not only Firefox that is affected by this bug, I
suspect it may be a bigger problem with X.org, Gnome or possible the
graphics card drivers.

Reboot - I got an X-server error (not visible) with an out-of-vertical
synch static black band across the centre of the display. The body of
the error message was not visible.
