I have an ecryptfs mounted on ~/Private . When I delete an encrypted file it is
moved in to the trash but it won't show up in Gnome Trash so it took me an hour

That's funny, because I've only just started to experience it. I think
the regression happened approximately a week ago, maybe sooner. I've
experienced it a few times (3 or 4) out of many more locks (40 maybe?).
The only solution seems to be switching to another terminal and killing
gnome-screensav

I have the same bug when I use the multimedia key of my HP DV 3000
Laptop.

It is even worse, when you boot without battery, it will hide the
battery options, since it has no way to know if it is present.
Now thinking again about this, maybe kernel should change this behavier

The /proc battery remains registered in hal all the time, but changes status
