understand: when I open up My Pictures, it finds the cached versions of
the icons for all of the subdirectories. When I open up a subdirectory

I have this problem as well. I have gnome-settings-daemon

I know it sounds like low priority, but this is pretty annoying piece of

I have f-spot 0.4.4 and tried the trick with disabling Folder Export
0.4.4.0. However I get a fail when I try to install the new version
saying there is a conflict and that I do not have the permission to

upstream version (0.20).
Its basically 0.19.1 with all Ubuntu/Debian patches (but the one fixing the
alpha FTBFS) plus updated translations.

no the description is not clear enough, what would be useful is steps to
trigger the bug on a stock installation:
- start the current intrepid version on a new account
- create a directory and copy the image attached to the bug there
- open the directory in nautilus and notice it hangs
