I can't print PDF files, using Evince Document Viewer, in Ubuntu 8.04
LTS. Note that in Ubuntu 7.10 I used to print with no problems using
Evince.
I do can print using OpenOffice or xPDF (which uses lpr), but Evince

I can confirm that this is indeed a bug. It is a regression, there was
no problem in Gutsy and it consistently doesn't work in Hardy.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run any Hardy configuration (results are the same from Live CD and from
fully updated installed version)

Deactivating "Evolution Alarm Notifier" in

I also have this problem on my desktop computer, which has an Nvidia
6200 LE TurboCache.
I have tried razor1394's suggestion but it didn't solve the problem.
Additionally, running "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" seems to
completely clear all device information from xorg.conf. Pretty much the
