I faced something similar. Since its really my first time, I filed a
new bug report (216123) which has aptly been marked as duplicate of this
one.
However, in my situation, it does remember the username. And its not
able to show any events at all. Basically the application just crashes.

For some reason I was not able to obtain a backtrace. Every time I
attempted to attach gdb to Xorg it froze. I finally resorted to
installing the Nvidia Beta driver 173.08 and I was not able to reproduce
this crash. So I don't think this bug is in Epiphany.

I have automatic session saving enabled (via. Sessions Preferences ->
Session Options -> "Automatically remember...")
And yes, GNOME Log Viewer was running when I logged out. The application
claims it supports session saving (else it would prompt a dialogue on
logout), so it should either work, or
Same here I even tried adjusting my monitor and changing the login
screen but I still get the time and stuff on the bottom right cut off.
But as soon as I log in everything is back to normal.

Yes, it deals with the problem but I don't believe it is one that needs
a separate menu option to 'fix' it.
As above, the appropriate sig fig display level should be taken from
