This is supposed to show .desktop files that don't contain "[Desktop Entry]"
which would in my
opinion be the cause of your bug.
If you find zero, it probably means I made some bad assumption.

The font *really* is unreadable.
Only 3 pixels high, on my Sony XBR4 (40 inch 1920x1080).
After setting display size in the monitor section of xorg.conf, it got better.

I tried it with hardy and it is the same. But I think it happends when
you enter a text that is longer than one line. So for example on page 7
in the right box. The first line is correct and the second everytime
gets garbage.

I have the same problem. However, it is NOT erratic. The bug disappears
as soon the following events occur:
xchat window is minimized
a message is received on any channel the user is on
the user clicks the icon (this causes the xchat window to be disappear, as the
icon is designed to do)
