After a reboot, which i believe was the first since installing Ubuntu,
I've failed to recreate the refresh rate change error. however now all
my videos only play in black and white.

- Right-click on top panel and select 'Add to Panel'
- Add the Disk Mounter applet
- Log out
- Log back in
The Disk Mounter applet is no longer visible on the panel.
