When I say I filed a complaint long ago, I filed it for Ubuntu 7.04. In

I am having the same behaviour as Joseph Garvin on Gutsy. The Keyboard
Shortcuts application is treating the SuperL and SuperR keys as regular
keys, not accelerator keys. But this is better than not registering at
all, as was happening earlier, I guess. :)

The fact is that gThumb also does that for raster images. Like I said above,
it's only noticeable in images where sharpness matters, like scanned text.

I'm running with an nvidia card and 2 monitors using xinerama. After
the update to gdm it just crashes constantly saying "the launcher
crashed; attempting to use another one" or something like that. It
will just do this enlessly until I switch to a

Ah, the problem is that you are using SVG images. SVG is a vector
format. gThumb and eog are raster viewers.
The librsvg library is used by gThumb and eog to convert the SVG image
into a raster format - automatically causing fuzziness. I'm not sure
what dpi/resolution is used in the vector>raster

Going in via SSH and changing gdm.conf by hand to use gdmlogin, instead
of gdmgreeter, makes GDM usable again, although obviously with the wrong
type of login module. I'm wondering whether 2.20.0-0ubuntu4 broke
something in GDM or whether it's actually caused by last-minute changes
in the Gutsy GDM
