This patch improves the behavior by making the column expandable (as it was
some time in the 2.17

tested gutsy and there nautilus is even somewhat stranger.
You can´t change any width.
Instead someone has to switch to icon view and back, then the width of
all colums gets recalculated.
But that doesnt seem to be logical, too.

Just some more details for my last post. The 'border' under feisty is
exactly 64 characters.
So a file with a name consisting 65 characters (total: name + extension) the
last character of the extension is truncated under windows xp.
As written above under gnome-baker everthing is fine.

When I delete files to trash from nautilus, trashapplet doesn't change status.
It looks like there are no deleted files.
But when I open it, there all the files that I've deleted.
System: Gutsy
Linux ubuntu 2.6.22-6-gene
This bug is about the notification area only and has been closed
upstream, doing the same with the distribution task. Feel free open a
new bug if you still have it on Ubuntu 7.04

I have ubuntu feisty on a pc with dvd-rw drive and cd-rw drive. I insert
blank cd in drive, and gnome prompts me with dialog "you have inserted a
blank disk". I choose "Make Audio CD" and serpentine starts. Now I go to
preferences and find out
> If one goes to places -> networking, it's not doable ...
it's available in the file menu also there

Changing track information in rhythmbox crashes
As a workaround you can use ctrl + click to open tabs in a new tab, or
depending on your laptop press the touchpad with two fingers at the same
time while hovering over the link.
