No, you cannot mount the /dev/mapper/luks device with gnome-mount. You
can, however, mount it with
sudo mount /dev/mapper/luks /mnt

If you compile the newest (feisty) version of gnome-panel, there is no
"quit" (shutdown) option from the menu. There is only a "log out"
option. In order to shutdown you have to first logout to the login
manager and then shutdown from there
Ok... I didn't know if maybe you could see something that was not
right. I have valgrind running and will let it run until something
'breaks'. I assume that the errors in there are normal...

I'm having a similar problem. My applet show empty, and empty trash is
greyed out, but they are actually items in the trash folder. I've
included an attachment with a screen shot. I have never used the delete
key to empty my trash. I've tried logging out and logging back in, but

Always reproducible, here are the steps:
1) Open nautilus,
2) Type ctrl-z,
3) nautilus closes immediately.
- Running it under gdb does not help, just says "Program exited normally."

As I don't know how to reproduce the bug and it never happened again, I
don't think that starting gnome-panel under Valgrind is likely to bring
more info :-(
