setting the GConf-key "/apps/panel/global/upstream-session" to true.
This has the effect that I have two entries in GNOME's System menu: A
"Logout" entry and a "Shutdown" entry

Sometimes I suspend to ram and at resume I find the logout screen there
again (and I see it close before suspension), other times it just
suspends again right after resume - duplicate "power button" events

That doesn't look like a bug. The alias name you are using has no reason
to be used to the sent mail, replacing it by the correct list of emails
looks like the correct behaviour. What is your problem with that?

I have a NTFS partition in the hard drive and it does not appear in

applet in the gnome-panel. It is using right now the ntfs-3g/FUSE driver
but it also does not appear using the default kernel driver

I guess it depends on what is meant by a "text shift". The text does
move around, but it's a lot more than the 1 pixel or so described in the

Well, it may be regarded as a low priority visual bug. I only reported
it because it is rather jarring.
The fonts are "correct" but because the hinting interacts with the
darker background it essentially looks like a monochrome (black and
background) font instead of having the gradations of grey

While looking into this i found that this cant be reproduced on feisty
but it occurs everytime on edgy. Im thinking this is a libcairo problem
as it only seems to happen on libcairo2 1.2.4-1ubuntu2 AFAICS.
