Given it doesn't appear that Nautilus is actually crashing, it is likely
hanging while walking the directory tree on the ssh machine, hence why

I could not remotely log into X on Ubuntu with Cygwin until I shut down
the Windows XP firewall. I have not changed /etc/hosts in any way.
Suse works fine with the firewall in its normal state so it is clearly a

That's not a gnome-themes problem, the applet is a button and the GTK
theme does draw round angles for them, reassigning to ubuntulooks. Might
be a gnome-panel "bug" (should not use a normal button widget) though

Thank you for the bug and the update, if that's fixed to the current
worked version the bug can be marked fixed, doing that now. Ranting on a
bug is not really useful, people writting those software do they best to
fix bugs and write good softwares, often without being payed and you

I'm no longer getting the same specific problem on the same specific
page. This could be due to the fact that I'm now on Edgy, or that the
page has changed, or I might have installed some different
firefox/gstreamer plugin since the problem first occurred. Will try to
