I just tried it again, this time I got a different problem:
The system has reached a state where there are no jobs running. A shell
will be spawned so that... etc.
It had got the network connection up, but that was pretty much it. Oh

Indeed, I have the same problem. Specifically, for me it happens at the
exact moment when the screen shifts. It seems to work with many tools as
well. When zoomed out, no problem, but the instant you zoom in and try
to scroll without using the scroll-bar, it crashes. I even tried

Ok, it turned out I had xserver-glx from Beryl installed. I've
uninstalled it and installed the Ubuntu xserver-glx and the keyboard
mapping is working better now, although I seem to have lost the keyboard

contacts are NEVER added, I tried to disable the plugin, close
evolution, reopen it, re-enable the plugin, close evolution, open, reply
to a mail, but NO contacts, if you need more info tell me how to produce

contacts, not only when one replies, but e.g. when selecting multiple
e-mail addresses (suppose I receive a mail with 4 people in CC and

commas/semicolons or braces.

A colleague of mine (W. Vanhaevre) first encountered this bug, it was
easily reproducable on my system. Both are running an up-to-date Ubuntu
6.10 (Edgy) on x86 hardware.
The problem seems to be specific to the browsing/discovery part of the
SMB protoc
Can you check the contents of ~/.xsession-errors ?
