When we first started this site, we plastered our E-mail address everywhere.

I installed 4.2.3 last night, and have seen an increase in spam not being
caught. Some, which are blatant in their wording, are even coming in below
a weight of 5. I've check my cfg and $junkmail files and all are in order.
Is this just a coincidence or are others experiencing this too?

Yes, and nothing out of the ordinary. It almost looks like 3/4 run through
the full battery of tests, and the rest just skip right on through.
They are mainly pharma spam.

Does declude treat mail to an IMAIL alias any different than a true
account? I just noticed that the mails which appear to slip past some or
all testing are aliases.

Any previous talk on filtering for blank subject lines is 2 years old, so
I'd like to present the question again, and/or make a new feature request.
Within our corp, we have several employees who enjoy send their mails with
no subject what-so-ever. Wrist slaps have done nothing to correct this
pr
It's not about blocking spam, it's about forcing employees to be sensible
when it comes to electronic messages. I myself get between 20 - 30 emails a
day from 1 employee that carry blank subjects. Dare I say 700 a month from
one person? Memos, personal requests, outside of ramming their head int
I have pro and my filters work, yet ISBLANK, IS BLANK, IS, and IS , all pass
mail with blank subjects through. White listing plays no part. Do you know
if that is supposed to work for sure?
Thanks.
Sorry for the vent earlier. I got my ass chewed REAL good today because I
forget to do something.
Ok... This is what I have
In global.cfg:
SUBJECTFILTER filter C:\IMail\Declude\subjectfilter.txt x
5 0
In $default$.cfg for this domain:
SUBJECTFILTER WARN
In C:\IMail\Declude\subjectfilter.txt:
SUBJECT 10 ISBLANK
By doing this, sending mail from a remote domain, the ma
didn't seem to make a difference. mail still passed
through unaffected.

I can see how your HELOISREVDNS works, but after toying
with it a bit, I'm at a loss on how to move from two defined strings to
comparing a blank space. No biggie... I'll figure something

Pro version of declude, and been awhile since I've made a filter, so maybe I
am over looking something silly.
global cfg file:
stepDOMblockfromfile"C:\IMail\Declude\Filters\stepDOMblock.txt"
x 5 0
In C:\IMail\Declude\Filters\ is a txt file named stepDOMblock.txt with
should there be a CR? Currently there is.
Nothing else has the filter file open.
I purposely did not add @ to the beginning of the domain because I don't
want any mail from any current or future mail servers of theirs. As it is
now, I will delete anything coming from anything related to phobrau
the path is correct, the file name is correct, tried rebooting, still same
error. Even went as far as renaming the test and the file and the adjusting
the path accordingly.. same results.

/me puts dunce cap on
removing the ".txt" did not warn me about renaming the file, and it stayed
txt... so I am guessing this was it.
Just have to wait a little and see what happens.
THANK YOU!
