I'm still experiencing this bug, using xorg-server-1.4.2 in Debian Lenny
package version 2:1.4.2-9.
I compared deb-src and vanilla sources, xorg-server-1.4.2/os/utils.c are
identical. And both seem to have inc
eboot solves this. :(

And it's still there. This time with xserver-xorg-core 2:1.4.2-11 and
openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-6.

Now with claws-mail 3.7.1-1 on xserver-xorg-core 2:1.4.2-11.
It's been over four months and a release now. Is this ever going to be
looked into? Hanging X only solved by a reboot makes a system unusable.

Because of this, I no longer use Debian on desktop environments, so I
can't check.

What about now with an X stack from squeeze/sid, or from experimental?
KiBi.
Sorry, can't say. I have since switched to another distro.
