I noticed that there's no version of the xbooks package in
testing/unstable. Is this due to the upgrade to XFree86 4.0?
Has the X windows API changed that much? Will there be an upgraded
version of this package at some point?

ted but nothing happens.
Running /etc/init.d/xdm by hand works fine, though. I haven't messed with
this by hand, so I'm guessing the problem is some recent update to
Debian xdm (I'm running testing).

I'm using an ordinary 3 button ps2 mouse (logitech in this case),
and for me raw repeat works, while ms3 repeat keeps the mouse in the lower
left corner of the screen.

at some point, along with the apropriate mesa libs. The rest of my
system is synced to testing (including, since the upgrade, the
X packages). My graphics card is a Matrox G450 (hence my need to run
4.1).
