I found that udev was causing my problems. Updating libudev0 to 150-2 from 146-5 solved the problem. Udev had updated, but did not bring in libudev0. I was able to (without updating libudev) "fix" the problem temporarily by running /sbin/udevadm trigger for each session (using an external keyboa
