I think that I can more or less reliably cause a kernel oohps on resume:
1. boot with monitor attached via dvi cable (docking station)
2. suspend to RAM (with monitor attached)
3. resume (with monitor attached)
The system resumes and I find a stack trace in kern.log / dmesg
