Hi Julien, you are right. I am convinced now, that the problem
has nothing to do with the xserver, although I found the error messages
quite confusing.
As far as I am concerned, the bug may be closed.

Hi,
kernel 3 is really a dramatic issue for my system (it causes overheating
of cpu and so fan's noising) anyway i tried also the xserver and the -intel
driver from sid but nothing changes, the problem is still the same.

This appears to be due to a missing case in
InitOutput.c:vfbScreenInit. At line 832 there's a "switch
