I have what appears to be the same problem. I've had a some difficulty
getting radeon to work with much of the problem caused by a conflict between
vesafb and radeondrmfb. It seems grub l
diagnosis by deletion ?? "it seemed to work after deletion". that's
crazy - simply crazy. an it should be there if the wrong thing is on
7100 of course of course.
people manage that themselves if the new XML font junk fails to - delete
it it will be back in
