Hi,
I struggled over the same bug when upgrading from Etch to Lenny
yesterday. Searching the internet I got the [1]hint that reducing the
xorg.conf to use only one pointer fixes the problem.
Later I discovered that there is also an [2]Ubun

Hello,
I have prepared savage 2.2.1-2 to fix this. Could all of you please test the
package available at http://newpeople.debian.org/~bgoglin/savage/
and report back whether it works? I want to be sure it doesn't break for

thanks,
Brice

Hi,
This bug might be the same as, or similar to, 494441.
I have a G45 based motherboard (Asus P5Q-EM) where X crashes a few
seconds after I log in using gdm. It seems to be doing fine just
