I have downloaded the Debian Mesa sources to try to compile Mesa and
OSMesa like the standard Mesa package.
I see that the Mesa make command show me some configurations like the
standard package linux-* but som that not are in the standard debian-*.
Now looking in the debian/rules I found debian-

i was hit by this bug in a lenny installation (d-i rc2 netinstall + task
desktop, and no further config) some days/weeks ago (i have an i965 board).
my problem was that fonts and icons were not displayed at all (fonts got
visible only if set to monochrome in the gnome preferences and only
