Is there anything new about this bug?
People talked about missing window decoration, I more and more feel like
it's caused by the decoration plugin not being loaded by default by

I made a fluxbox-dbg and installed xserver-xorg-code-dbg,
then installed the problematic xserver, ran

There were a lot of upgrades of X-related packages today, and since then
I couldn't get gdm to run. After fiddling around I found a lot of
things that didn't run. I narrowed it down somewhat:
