Hi,
2 month ago, you offered to post more info about this problem? Did have
a chance to reproduce and gather the info?
Since the problem occurs with Xorg, I should reassign this bug a
xserver-xorg package. But, it looks like you're running the non-free
nvidia driver. Could you try to reproduce wi
Hi Greg,
Could you please give more detail on how to reproduce? How invalid are
these font files? Just change random bits?
Does this still happen with Xorg/Etch?
Thanks,
Brice

Hi Julien,
About 3 years ago, you reported a problem to the Debian BTS regarding
the backing store implementation being very slow. Did you reproduce this
problem recently? With Xorg/Etch? Does the problem still matter today?
If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.
Thanks,

Hi Brice,
Thanks for the follow up. The problem was only resolved by installing
driver package from Matrox. It overwrote the mga_drv driver within
the X libraries area, and then X w

Package: xorg
Version: 1:7.1.0-13
Severity: normal
X server tends to crash randomly on my box upon mouse click. This
happens from times to times, but I couldn't draw a pattern (it doesn't
happen often).
Attached is the Xorg.log from the latest crash, backtrace at the end of
file.

Xnest consistently crashes with the application Tulip (Debian package

Tulip on AMD64 also crashes xserver-xorg-core 2:1.1.1-19 on i386
during the same operation. Tulip on i386 also cras
