Is there a chance to see 1400x1050 resolution in debconf templates in upcoming

When trying to insert my personal modmap, I stumbled on the following
problem (xfree 4.3 from ds4): X suddenly took 100% of CPU (even tough
top indicated only 50%), and after a while the computer became totally
non-reactive (for a while, the server kept on moving the mouse).
I am competent enough

You probably don't want to get everything from experimental by default
though. You should simply use an APT frontend w
Hello,
Since Tim Roberts stopped work on his savage driver (see below), is
there any chances that S3 driver will be incorporated into XFree86?

but is for 4.2.0 only (ie. some work would be needed to use it on 4.3.x.

As 4.2.1-9 seems to work again, this bug can probably be closed?

My problem has been solved by simply using U2010 in my xmodmap file

Hi,
the update from 4.2.1-6 towards 4.3.0-pre1v1 was pretty smooth,
everything works as expected. I never really used 3D with my
Radeon 7500 QW (64 MB SDRAM) before, but I thought I'd give it
a try with 4.3.0. With the included drm-src package recompiled
for 2.4.21-bk30 (comparable to -rc1) and 2.6
