With the most recent update I performed to my laptop, xterm has ceased
responding in any way to the dtterm sequence
ESC [ 2 1 t
Which should cause xterm to respond on the pty with the OSI sequence for
the current xterm's title.
This causes var

Bug#200857: xterm fails to honour dtterm sequence ESC[21t
Severity set to `normal'.

How Carlos likes his X:
...
1- Install debian X related packages.
2- Run some quick tests on the debian X packages.
3- cvs co X head, build, install (and DRI/DRM to get latest DRM
module updates not integrated into XFree86 CVS yet).
4- Run scripts to fix symlinks that debian doesn't
