Thanks to the very kind efforts of Taketoshi Sano, I have finally been able to make my ct65554 card display 16bpp at 1024x768 under XFree86 4.0.1e While in restrospect, it seems I surely must have entered valid parameters before, I can only assume I had conflicting options. For the record, it see
